Ending 2009 and Starting 2010 with our Wedding!

I am offically a slacker. I haven't posted in so long. Ian and I got married on December 29th, in Rigby Idaho. It was a beautiful wedding. My colors were red, white, and silver. My mom spent lots lot hours and hard work to make my dress beautiful and it was. My sister-in-law made my beautiful jewlery and did awesome! My sister Teresa made yummy cupcakes and they were red velvet homemade. Ian's aunt and cousins played the violins to make the mood of our ceremony special. The music was beautiful! My family steped up and made my day special. With Jared who made our wedding video a special touch, and to the night before Ian's mom, sisters, and Carly, and everyone getting the last minute touches done. Wedding is a lot of work even without a bridezilla! Here we are now Mr. and Mrs. Ian Hobson

We had family and friends who drove a long ways to share our new lives together. It was a special day for Ian and I and were so glad so many people showed their love for us. Life is truely a blessing when two people can start by saying I do, and show what love means. Life in a marriage is not easy, but it's the tough times that make the love show and grow deep into the soul. Without one another life just doesn't seem possible. Life and love make the world go round. Thank you to those who contributed and made our day special for us.
Here is one of my favorite engagment photos. I need to be better about updating this. New goal is to be better. It's been a fun 09 year. Ian and I had a blast living all around California. We lived in Malad Idaho for the summer and met some awesome friends. Ian is currently unemployed, but hopefully the Union will call soon. Don't worry because were not. In his job life is just full of suprises. Currently there is no work right now for powerlines till around March. When March comes, we will to, with a life full of adventure and suprises. Our lives never cise to amaze us. We love our adventure we call life, and enjoy our endless possibilites. For a new year comes new adventures. Here we come new life as Mr and Mrs Ian Hobson, and here we come new adventures!!!!

Winchester Mystery House

On a Sunday afternoon, we decided to go to San Francisco and ride bikes. We got to the turn off which makes you go left for San Fran or right to San Jose. Ian pipes up and says let's go to that weird ladies house. ha ha! I was all okay. Thank heaven's for moms! Can I just say that! She got the address for us and all the information we needed. We drove to San Jose which from us is about a 2 hour drive. You have to include traffic time! I have been here before but Ian had not. He thought it was okay didn't love it like I did. If you have ever been there it's weird and strange. The house is spectacular and she has a beautiful house. Here are my favorite parts.

The tiles around the fire places were original. When Mrs. Winchester died her niece got everything and of course sold everything. No furniture or anything is original. Which sucks. The house has things like stair cases that lead to no where doors that open into walls. Doors that lead to a no where. She was crazy and thought the ghost from the Winchester rifle were haunting her.

This was my favorite room. It's the ball room. Which is also weird because Mrs. Winchester never invited anyone into her home except her workers. This room was never used. Except for the organ which she would play I guess to relax herself to sleep. Different I know, but again the architecture and house was beautiful.

Golden Gate Ride

So Ian and I for our birthdays we got for each other Trek mountain Bikes. In Seattle where we lived in South Praire we had trails and we rode on them every weekend. When we left there it was really rainy and not nice weather. So when we got to California we were really excited to see the beautiful fall weather.

On a Saturday we went for a ride across the golden gate bridge.

Before we did that we decided to go on past the bridge and go to the next town. Currently, can’t remember what it’s called. OMG its bike trail town! Tons and tons of bikers! We ate our lunch we packed by the ocean watching this big boat come in and out. The day was about 65 degrees and just a nice cool breeze. It was the perfect day for a bike ride.

We rode our bikes for about 2 hours and then decided to hit the bridge. We parked the truck by the bridge and parked by this sweet looking car. Ian had to take pictures. Ha ha!

We rode across and this was our view! Wow huh? Ian loved it. It was a total rush with the cars flying past us on one side and the ocean drop on the other side.

We went past the bridge on this little dirt trail. The day was so fun! Then when we got done we walked over to the other side to check out the view and look at the navy memorial.

California Fun

For my birthday Ian took me to the Warf in San Francisco. They already had the Christmas stuff up. My birthday was the middle of November. We had a few friends with us like Cindy and Kyle, and Rich and Mia. It was a lot of fun. We had some awesome sea food. We ate at Wipe Out Bar & Grill. The food there is awesome, but expensive. What do you expect when you have such a fabulous view and great food. After we ate ourselves full we walked around to all the cute little shops down there. Ian and I bought some yummy salt water taffy. About 3 or 4 we went on a romantic sunset cruise around the bay. It was very romantic.

We went past the "Island" which now we wish we would of spent the money to go there instead. I guess you live and learn right. The sunset was beautiful as you can see from all the amazing pictures.

The view was spectacular and well worth it. San Francisco is a beautiful and romantic city. My birthday was a wonderful day. Ian made it very special by in the morning making me breakfast in bed. We had a few drinks at the warf and we made my favorite drink when we got home margaritas. They were way yummy.

You just can't beat a view like this!

Seattle Fun

I flew into Seattle on the 13th of September to spend a few weeks with Ian. After picking me up in his new pickup we were both starving so we went to dinner. The next day we both wanted to go visit Seattle since that's one city I have not gone to. We went to a awesome place called Underground Seattle. WOW! Ian and I are both big history people. We enjoyed it. The way people thought and did things was really interesting. The underground is where Seattle streets use to be. Now they are literally one story underground. This tour has alot of adult humor, but is well worth it.

After the tour we decided we wanted to see the "VIEW" of Seattle. What I mean is the view from the space needle. So We spent the money and went up a elevator and saw the most amazing view of Seattle from up above. You may not know, but the Space Needle was a gift from to the US from the Science of Space. It is a once in a life time thing, but you can see everything from the view.

Ian and I had a blast in Seattle and we didn't get a chance to get back in there before we left. While we were there we enjoyed the beautiful fall weather and eachother. The city was dirty in some places, but what city isn't? Seattle is a beautiful city and I would recommend this city to anyone who wishes to see and enjoy the history of this romantic place.

Mount Rainer

Ian and I went to Mount Rainer. It's a huge volcano located near Seattle and Olympia area. It was about a 2 hour drive up there, but well worth it. It was fall and the weather was beautiful and clear day. Pretty surprising for Washington. This mountain has a sister you probably have heard of Mount St. Helen's. Probably have that spelled wrong.

Ian and I at the top. We are at the base of Mount Rainer.
The sun was reallya Shinin!

This was water fall we saw on our way back home. As you can see it was caused by the shaking of the earth. You can see some volcanic rocks and where the hot lava once was. Pretty sweet.

On our way there we saw this house with all these things made out of metal in the front. So Ian had to stop. We stopped and found out this guy has these gardens he calls them of things he's made out of scrap metal. This was the highlight of Ian's day. He loved it. We have tons and tons of pictures until the camera was full and he finally decided to let us go home. Plus it was getting dark and he had to work in the morning.

This huge bike. This is what caught our eyes. Well, Ian's eyes. ha ha! His whole yard was all stuff he's welded together with tracker parts and just all scrap metals. Pretty sweet place.

Puget Sound

For a sunday afternoon Ian and I decided to drive to Puget sound. Ian wanted to show me where he worked before and we were just outside of Tacoma WA. We stood and watched people fish off this dock. No body caught any fish while we were there, just a few crabs. They were really small. I love this picture of Ian and I. It's probably one of the best we have.

We saw this amazing house for sale and so we drove up to it. The house you see in the picture is a million dollar house and has a million and breat takin view. After here we ate some lunch and then drove home. It was a fun day.
